There is a public Consultation and residents survey now in place which closes on 10th November.
Alsager Town Council has received funds from the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). The money comes from charges on housing developments which came into force in 2010. The purpose is to fund infrastructure to support local development and CIL funds should be spent on priorities agreed with the local community.
At the Town Council Meeting on 3 August 2021 it was resolved ;
1.That, the priorities for use of the CIL money are agreed in order as:
• Improvements to Cedar Ave Joint Use Open Space
• Improvements to Milton Park entrance and Sandbach Rd South car park
• Increased CCTV through the Town Centre
• Increased provision of disabled play equipment to all play areas in Alsager.
Use of CIL funds require public consultation and this is now underway to determine the views of residents and if they agree or disagree with these identified priorities. A paper copy of the consultation leaflet has been delivered to all households within Alsager and these can be retuned by dropping them through the letter box at the Town Council offices.
In addition there is an on line survey where comments can be completed.
This can be accessed from the Consultations page under Town Consultations:
To access this go to: Town Consultations – Alsager Town Council
Hopefully everyone will receive a paper copy and respond or they can complete the on-line survey by using the above link.
Once the results from the survey are available and analysed the final recommendations will be prepared for the Town Council to agree at its meeting on 23rd November 2021.
The consultation closes on 10 November 2021.

He was made on Anglesey and bought from the secret garden by Beaumaris castle.

Wonderful wild flowers around the lake and lovely flowers in the Italian gardens.
Glorious colour.
A good friend Paul, who is sadly no longer with us gave me a laminated copy of the Poem “May you always have an angel by your side” by Amelia Larson to remember him by. I was looking at it recently and would like to share it with you:

For those of use who enjoy visiting the gardens it was really good to see the one way route introduced by the National Trust. It worked really well and showed off the gardens to their best, visiting each of the different sections. If you have not been yet I would highly recommend it. Booking is important and the staff said that the bookings are updated each Friday for the following week. There is the option of a long and short route. The cafe is open but located where the shop used to be to allow a one way route for entrance and exit. So coffee and a scone was an essential part of the visit. The gardens have clearly been well looked after during the lockdowns and are looking magnificent at the moment.
If you own a Kona you may be interested in what happened to my car recently.
My Kona is 8 months old and has done 6400 miles. On a recent motorway journey the engine management warning light came on. As I was close to my destination I continued.
After taking advice from the dealership I called roadside assistance ( I was 70 miles away from home visiting my elderly parent).
He checked the fault- it was a misfire in cylinder 2. But as he didn’t know why it occurred. He suggested that he towed the car back to Crewe and organised a hire car for me to get home.
The dealership confirmed the fault as a misfire in cylinder 2 and replaced the plug and coil.
I enquired about warning lights. Evidently the colour is very important. Yellow or amber are advisory. Red means don’ travel and seek immediate assistance. If in doubt seek advice.
The roadside assistance man, said the hard shoulder of the motorway is a very dangerous place to stop. He didn’t want to risk me driving home and having to call him out again.
If anyone else has any problems or issues with the Kona please let me know.
